Krovos LLC ("Krovos," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at krovos.app.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, and financial documents you upload. We also collect information about how you use the platform, including pages visited and features used.

When you upload documents, we extract relevant financial data to build your Life Engine. We permanently exclude government identification numbers (Social Security Numbers and similar identifiers) from storage.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Krovos platform; generate your Life Report; send you transactional emails and, with your consent, marketing communications; and comply with legal obligations.

We never sell your personal information or share your financial data with advertisers. We use carefully selected service providers only as necessary to operate Krovos and provide your requested features. Krovos does not use your personal information to train general-purpose AI models. Our commercial AI provider does not use API inputs or outputs for model training by default.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a secure, encrypted database managed by Supabase. Row-level security prevents one member from accessing another member's data, while authorized Krovos services may access data only as needed to provide and support the platform. Uploaded documents are stored in user-scoped private storage buckets.

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Document Processing

Documents you upload are processed by our AI system, powered by Anthropic's commercial Claude API, to extract relevant information. Krovos Guide sends the messages you enter, a limited structured selection of relevant Life Engine facts, recent conversation context, and saved Krovos outcomes to Anthropic so it can provide personalized guidance. Krovos does not automatically add raw documents, government identification numbers, account credentials, or authentication information to Guide context. Do not enter those details in Guide messages because message text is processed as submitted. Extracted data and complete Guide conversations are stored in your Krovos account. Anthropic states that standard commercial API inputs and outputs are deleted from its backend within 30 days, subject to its usage-policy, legal, and contractual exceptions. Krovos does not currently represent that it has a separate zero-data-retention agreement. You can review Anthropic's commercial data-retention explanation.

Service Providers

Krovos uses service providers to operate the platform, including Supabase for authentication, database, and private file storage; Vercel for application hosting; Anthropic for AI processing; Stripe for payments; and Resend for transactional email. These providers receive only the information needed for their function and process it under their applicable commercial and data-processing terms. Krovos does not authorize them to use your financial information for advertising.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. You may export your data or request account deletion by contacting us at privacy@krovos.app. Upon account deletion, your personal data and uploaded documents will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session and improve your experience. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookie settings through your browser.

Children's Privacy

Krovos is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the platform. Your continued use of Krovos after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
